Missing teeth are a condition that is both embarrassing and unhealthy. If you need treatment for missing teeth, dentures can offer convenience and affordability. Dentures can replace multiple teeth up to a full arch quickly and efficiently. At Fair Oaks Family Dental, we understand that major dental procedures can be stressful, and we can address your concerns and alleviate your stress with dentures that aesthetically replace missing teeth and improve dental function.

Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are used when patients are missing some, but not all, of their natural teeth. These removable dentures fill gaps and create the appearance of a full smile. Partial dentures are made up of artificial teeth attached to an acrylic base and a clasp or a metal framework. The clasp and base work together to hold the prosthetic in place.

Full Dentures

If you are missing all your natural teeth, complete dentures restore an entire dental arch. We typically schedule several appointments to provide an accurate fit for your dentures and adjust them as needed. Before fabricating your final prosthetics, we can fine-tune the measurements to help your new teeth feel comfortable and look natural.

Implant Supported Dentures

An implant-supported denture uses implant posts as anchors for a full-arch prosthetic. Implants act as attachments for the denture, creating a sturdy framework and minimizing deterioration of the jawbone.

Implant-supported dentures and partials are the best options for patients because they are comfortable and permanent. Unsupported dentures will need frequent readjustment and patients may suffer from loose, slipping dentures that prevent them from eating and speaking normally.
